Job Description:

The Director of Sales at Cytovale plays a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth and strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the EVP of Sales, this individual will lead the development of sales strategies and plans, oversee the sales team's performance, and ensure the achievement of

sales objectives. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader, capable of effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of success to spearhead the launch of the Cytovale system and IntelliSep test. The ideal candidate will possess broad-based sales leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams. Working closely with the EVP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies that drive both short-term results and long-term growth.

Overview of the Role:

Market Expansion and Advancement

  • Identify and cultivate early adopters, creating reference accounts to drive adoption.
  • Establish credibility necessary to facilitate widespread adoption of our solutions.

Hospital and Health System Sales Expertise:

  • Experience navigating complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of our solutions at the hospital and healthcare system level.

Process Orientation:

  • Establish clear pipeline development strategies to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Optimize the utilization of Salesforce CRM system to track sales activities, manage customer
  • relationships, and drive sales efficiency.
  • Collaborate with process-oriented customers to align our platform with their strategic goals.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from inception to implementation and customer development,
  • ensuring a seamless transition and fostering a positive customer experience.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and collaboration within the
  • sales team.

  • coaching as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive capital equipment placements and adoption of our technologies.
  • Identify and nurture early adopters and reference customers.
  • Define target customer profiles and update sales forecasts accordingly.
  • Cultivate relationships with key accounts, IDNs, and hospital system buyers.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top-tier sales professionals.
  • Travel as needed to engage with customers and support sales activities.
  • Participate in local and national industry events and conventions.
  • Manage sales team ethically and in compliance with company policies and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of driving hospital-level sales performance.
  • Ability to establish clinical credibility with C-level buyers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in new market development.
  • Background in startup medical products or equipment.
  • Knowledge of the diagnostics industry.
  • Previous experience selling disruptive technologies to multiple stakeholders within a client
  • organization.
