WHY THIS MATTERS

NOETIK is a frontier therapeutics company harnessing AI to deeply understand human biology and redefine clinical outcomes in oncology. Leveraging the largest proprietary multimodal oncology dataset of its kind, uniquely integrating spatial biology, NOETIK’s foundation AI models precisely match therapeutic targets to patient subpopulations and accurately predict clinical efficacy. This AI-first approach elevates therapeutic development from probabilistic guesswork to precision science.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly driven Senior Biosample Operations Manager to lead strategic biosample sourcing during an exciting period of exponential growth at Noetik. As we scale, we are rapidly developing our biorepository to be pan-cancer and then to expand beyond oncology. The person in this role will lead the design and build-out of our biorepository during this period of scaling and beyond, enabling massive multi-modal data generation in our laboratory. To do this, they will work collaboratively with multiple teams at Noetik, including Machine Learning, Engineering, Therapeutics, and Data Generation. In the future, this person is anticipated to help design and implement sample strategies in Noetik internal and/or partnered clinical trials. This role is a high-ownership, high-visibility role on our Platform team, reporting to the Senior Director of Biomarker and Scientific Operations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a mission-critical role where you will drive the future of biosample sourcing strategy and biorepository innovation to power large-scale data generation. You will be responsible for vendor outreach and management, executing multiple projects simultaneously, and scaling quickly to enable ever growing data generation requirements. Success in this role will require deep expertise in biosample operations and histology workflows, paired with the ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and execute with precision. This role is a balance of big picture strategy with hands-on building, requiring a strong scientific background and confidence to independently execute projects while maintaining precise organization and attention to detail. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning and evolving Noetik’s biosample procurement strategy, from executing on the current sample sourcing plan to working cross-functionally to design future expansion plans
  • Leading biosample procurement and serving as the primary point of contact in biosample vendor relationships, including contract and pricing negotiations
  • Working with internal and external assay teams to operationalize and ensure efficient project execution
  • Collaborating with team members to enable efficient sample accessioning, as well as organizing and querying sample metadata to support data generation and analysis at scale
  • Continuously scaling and streamlining processes to increase biosample procurement, tracking, and assay throughput as the complexity of projects increases
  • Working cross-functionally with machine learning scientists, engineers, and therapeutics team members to strategically source biosamples to achieve current and future company goals
  • Ability to design and implement biosample operations processes for expected future clinical trials

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced degree in biology or related field with at least 7 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Strong track record in vendor management, including contracting and negotiations
  • Project management and data management experience within complex, fast-paced environments
  • Background in human clinical laboratory environments and/or managing biosample operations on clinical trials

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects at once while maintaining exceptional quality on each
  • Motivated to solve problems independently and in teams with a bias toward action
  • Ability to assess a project as a whole then execute an organized and detailed plan
  • Familiarity with FFPE tissues and histology laboratory operations
  • Experience with LIMS/sample management software, ability to use SQL to run database queries or any coding experience
