We are seeking a seasoned Director of Marketing to join our team with a proven track record of exemplary marketing, driving brand creation and equity. This person will lead strategy and execution of all marketing and branding activities, including some European-based initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, creative development, and execution of impactful online and offline marketing and branding campaigns
  • Establish strong relationships with internal teams and external partners (Clients, Partners and Journalists) to ensure clear communication and coordination with the business and sales strategy
  • Define brand guidelines that reflect our values and ensure proper alignment and brand messaging across various marketing channels
  • Drive and maintain a cohesive digital strategy by providing guidelines for storytelling, developing dynamic content, increasing engagement, and use of analytics to measure and improve communication strategies.
  • Provides guidance and direction to senior leaders and the total team on any external facing material (presentations, social media, events, media agencies press releases, etc.) to ensure proper representation of Modern Meadow brand
  • Own and executes on all other day-to-day marketing operations as dictated by the business

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

  • 10 + years' experience in brand marketing or related role; materials/textiles sector a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Public Relations preferred
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Affinity for digital marketing and social media
  • Result driven, start-up culture and fast driven environment
  • Strong background in brand marketing project management processes with a preference for those with experience developing and managing Ingredient and Co-branding activities.
  • Experience working with research and development teams and the marketing and branding of innovative sustainable innovations is preferred.
  • Fluency in marketing channel metrics and quantitative and qualitative consumer research
  • Ability to work onsite at our Nutley NJ HQ
  • Extensive travel may be necessary as dictated by business needs.
