Vitra Labs is a venture-backed biotech startup whose mission is to curb the rise in infertility by making IVF accessible to everyone. Our process aims to recapitulate oogenesis completely in vitro, without using ovarian donor tissue. We are a small, well-funded team looking for its future leaders. What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be applying computational methods to further our scientific milestones. This will include:

• Data curation and developing computational pipelines to analyze and extract targets from single cell RNA sequencing datasets.
• Developing new methods to rank and validate targets.
• Collaborating with experimental biologists to design experiments and test target predictions.
• Utilizing off-the-shelf and in-house methods and keeping up with current literature on NGS data analysis.
• Helping review and interview new candidates.
• Contributing to a tight-knit, collaborative, and positive company culture.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience in Bioinformatics/Genomics or related fieldPhD or equivalent preferred Master’s +4 years experience
• Independence in research, demonstrated by: leading a project that resulted in a publication, patent, or new tool.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB. Familiarity with AI/ML preferred.
• Startup and/or management experience preferred.
